I have worked in technology for 25 years and have been the only woman in classes , meetings, and on teams. When I realized a company that I considered a diversity champion still had only 13% women in technology leadership, I decided I wanted to help make a change. I wrote a book called Pull Each Other Up about the biases and barriers that women face in the STEM fields. My book offers stories of what real women have faced in various STEM fields, and ways we can all change the narrative and attract, retain and promote more women to these critical fields.
